The Greek Traverse

The Greek Traverse follows three distinct chapters across Greece, moving from Athens into the mountains of Meteora and south to the coast at Leonidio.

DAYS 1–3: Athens to Meteora

Meet in Athens for a welcome gathering and trip briefing before traveling north to Meteora.
Two days are built around climbing among Meteora’s sandstone towers, with time to explore the surrounding villages and landscape.

DAYS 4–5: Mountains to the Sea

Travel south from Meteora toward Leonidio as the landscape shifts from the interior mountains to the coast.
The route includes selected stops along the way before arriving in Leonidio, followed by a fresh day of climbing on the limestone walls above the sea.

DAYS 6–8: Leonidio

Climb in the mornings, with afternoons left for the coast, harbor, and time within the local community.
The traverse closes with a celebratory meal before returning to Athens for departure.
The itinerary may shift with weather, local conditions, and guide judgment. Decisions are made in the field around the quality and safety of the experience.
